Lars G FredriksonLars G Fredrikson (1964) gave his first organ recital at the age of 13. He has studied at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm, recieving a degree in church music and a Post Graduate Diploma in organ with a honorary plaque from the Royal Academy of Music. His organ teachers have been Torvald Torén, Stockholm and in Paris Rolande Falcinelli and Suzanne Chaisemartin, both brillant pupils of Marcel Dupré. His devotion to the music of Marcel Dupré has been reflected in recitals in many major Scandinavian cathedrals and in several radio breadcasts. He has given recitals in Sweden, Island, Denmark and France and conducted major oratorios and choral works. Lars G is also a talented pianist and accampanist. When not playing the organ, he enjoys gardening and cooking.
