The church
The church of the Gereformeerde Gemeente is in the past years several times enlarged and can now, including two large galeries, give place to 1500 people. The organ is located in a corner next to the liturgical center causing the organ to have two display sides under a 90 degree angle allowing the sound to reach every seat in the church.

The Organ
Ground plan Van den Heuvel organ Gereformeerde Gemeente, OpheusdenThe display design is unusually large after Dutch standards: each display side has it's own pipe tower and 6 flat pipe fields. At the corner of the organ case the console is placed and crowned by the main pipe tower which holds the largest pipes of the Prestant 16'.

The organ has two manual divisions of 56 notes and a Pedal of 30 notes. The Hoofdwerk (Great) has 11 stops, the Zwelwerk (swell) also 11 stops and the Pedaal (Pedal) 7 stops.

The complete stoplist.

ConsoleThe keyaction as well as the stopaction are completely mechanical. The naturals of the of the balanced keyboards recieved an overlay of bone and the sharps are made from ebony. The stopknobs as well as the cheeks are made of coromandel wood. The pedal board is made of oak.
